Since 2016 I have been using money as the basis for this body of work which comments on contemporary and historical ills from a social, political and environmental standpoint. The impetus stems from Howard Zinn’s book A People’s History of the United States. Borrowing a title from the Lutheran hymn, “Chief of Sinners Though I Be”, captures the zeitgeist of this work. And since there is endless political fodder, I will continue to add to this collection in perpetuity.
